Our designer Sue Goodchild decided to have fun on the day of the Royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, so we invited our customers to HOUSE OF COUTURE who watched as she sketched the dress in 20 minutes then emailed it to her factory to get her version made. Sue said "We have had so much press and interest from this, it started as a bit of fun and we are delighted with the finished wedding dress"

The finished dress is now on display and ready for you to try on or just come along and have a look.

We did Royal Wedding Dress in one Hour - Just for fun

Anyone who knows Sue Goodchild well knows that she has been designing dresses for real brides for over 3 decades. Sue say's "There was only one beautiful wedding dress, and every bride has it" Nearly every bride feels the need to have a unique dress and that is what she does at House of Couture. Rroduces desses to customers unique requirements either here in the UK or outsourcing to China, depending on the brides budget. We thought it would be fun to be the first to have this Royal Wedding dress in our shop with a view to making dresses to customers specific requirements. We cant wait to receive this most beautiful gown interpreted from.

House of Couture is on the move

House of Couture has been situated in Billet Lane for more than 22 years. Like the garments that we sell we need to keep up with the times!! We are moving to a new and beautiful showroom in a nicer part of town - just one road away at HOUSE OF COUTURE 14 North Street, Hornchurch, Essex, RM11 1QX
This opens on 10th April 2010 to the sound of champagne corks.
Director / designer Sue Goodchild said " We are very excited about the move and I cant wait to design a new range especially for the new showroom. Of course we will be sad to leave the old shop as it has many memories but one has to move on" "I am now creating beautiful gowns for the daughters of my past brides - I hope they find me in the next road, but this is a chance I cant miss and is well worth taking for the fabulous new building we are moving to"
